This year we are doing torchon lace pieces and a tatting piece for our challenge. There will be 2 categories: beginners and intermediate/advanced. Pieced are to be turned in at our January 2012 meetings with voting in February. Download the patterns and instructions for whichever category you feel fits your skills. You can enter one piece in both the bobbin lace and tatting categories.
Torchon BeginnersFeel free to ask for assistance from other members in completing your piece.

Our members outdid themselves with our granny square project for October/November. We had enough granny squares to complete 8 lap afghans. We also donated laced ornaments. These items were donated to Merrill Gardens to thank them for allowing us to hold our meetings in their facility. Click here to view photographs of the afghans and ornaments.
Our lace challenge was a big success. We had 12 entries and our members voted for their favorites. Click here to view the lace pieces and winning entries.
